Achieving Social Confidence in Relationships
An interactive series for adults (ages 18 and older) with high-functioning autism (e.g., Aspergers Disorder) or other types of social thinking differences to learn the following skills:

How to make a great first impression

How to talk to anyone in different situations

How to initate and maintain friendships
-
How to date and develop a long-term relationship
-
How to identify red flags with dating partners
-
And more....
Participants can learn and practice new skills in a comfortable and structured setting.
This 90-minute group will meet weekly over 8 weeks, in the evening, beginning in April.
Cost (including all materials): $320 for entire series
For Children:
Social Skills Training Series
An interactive environment for children ages 6-9 with Asperger’s, high-functioning autism, or other social thinking differences to learn adaptive pro-social behaviors, like the following:

Turn-taking, sharing, cooperative play

Joining others in an ongoing social activity

Communication/conversation skills
-
Maintaining appropriate boundaries
-
And more...
Participants will have the opportunity to practice their new skills in a safe and comfortable environment, during each session.
Parents receive weekly handouts AND participate in a parent session to learn about their child’s progress and newfound skills!
This 90-minute group will meet weekly over 8 weeks, in the evening, beginning in April.

For Parents:
Managing Your Child's Challenging Behaviors
An educational series for parents of preschoolers (ages 3-5) with behavioral challenges (e.g., defiance, meltdowns, aggression, destruction, etc.) to learn the following skills:

Strategic ignoring/selective attention

Changing the triggers to avoid a problem

Rewarding positive behaviors to reduce unwanted behaviors

Managing behaviors in public

Parents will have the opportunity to discuss specific behavioral challenges with the group.
